Choco-Story - The Chocolate Museum in Paris

The first chocolate museum in Paris opens its doors next February 5. Called Choco-Story, the hotel will trace the history of cocoa, using a thousand objects, and explain methods of manufacture. Temporary exhibitions are also planned to dive the Parisian public in this greedy world. It will finally be put to use through tastings.


Designed by Van Belle family, originally from Belgium, Choco-Story is a private institution, which first opened its doors in Bruges (Belgium) in 2004. A second museum was then located in Prague, Czech Republic, in 2008. Paris became the third European city to discover the history of chocolate to its inhabitants.

During the visit, whose duration varies between one to two hours, the public discovered the 4,000 year history of cocoa, images support. Temporary exhibitions, whose subjects are not yet known, will also enjoy the journey of chocolate today.
Choco-Story then propose to understand the various methods of making chocolate. In this regard, the demonstration center will conduct experiments to the public, who will be involved in tasting the products manufactured within the museum.
Most gourmands will in turn register for workshops will be organized in the basement. The progress and price are not yet known. At the end of the visit, the shop Choco-Story propose memories chocolate, simple chocolate eggs to processed cocoa creations.
